Exo. 24:9-11 “9 Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel: 10 And they saw the Elohim (God) of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness. 11 And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw Elohim (God), and did eat and drink.”


Mk. 16:9-12 “9 After Yahshua rose up early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons. 10 She went and reported to the ones who had been with him, who were mourning and weeping. 11 But even after they heard the news, they didn’t believe that Yahshua was alive and that Mary had seen him. 12 After that he appeared in a different form to two of them who were walking along in the countryside. 13 When they returned, they reported it to the others, but they didn’t believe them. 14 Finally he appeared to the eleven while they were eating. Yahshua criticized their unbelief and stubbornness because they didn’t believe those who saw him after he was raised up.”

Introduction
There are things that occur in both the physical and the spiritual realms that aren’t fully understood. Today the CIA has already proven that many psychics have powers (ESP, remote viewing, psychokinesis, ability to anticipate future events, etc.) that do exist, but they can’t explain from whence these powers come and how they operate. These powers have also been verified by the some of the top universities of the world, including Stanford and Princeton. Most would say they are of the devil which is an error.

To understand how men can see things and not understand how they operate, we cite the following examples in the Law, Prophets, and Fulfillment.


Law
Moses, Aaron, Nadad, Abibu saw the Elohim of Israel’s spiritual embodiment in a vision in all its glory. 


Ex. 24:9 “Then Moses went up with Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, Ex. 24:10 and they saw the Elohim (God) of Israel; and under His feet there appeared to be a pavement of sapphire, as clear as the sky itself.” ESV


But they didn’t have the full understanding of what they were seeing. Meaning they didn’t understand his operation in terms of the Elohim (God)head (1 John 5:7; John 1:1,14) or the Unity of the Spirit and His Purpose thru the three ages of time.


“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”  1 John 5:7 KJV


The full understanding wasn’t given at this time for the Holy Spirit haven’t been poured out yet.


Moses confirmed Elohim hadn’t revealed an understanding to them yet, for he wrote Elohim laid not his hand upon them. Even though they ate and drink with Elohim in the spirit. Moses wrote: Ex. 24:11 “Yet He did not stretch out His hand against the nobles of the sons of Israel; and they saw Elohim (God), and they ate and drank.)” ESV  


Prophets 
Samson’s parents were visited by an angel and told Samson’s mother would have a child in her old age.  They didn’t realize they were speaking to an angel until they invited him for dinner and he disappeared in the smoke of their offering.


Judges 13
13 And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of Yahweh (the Lord); and Yahweh (the Lord) delivered them into the hand of the Philistines forty years. 2 And there was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren, and bare not. 3 And the angel of Yahweh (the Lord) appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son. 4 Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing: 5 For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto Elohim (God) from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines. 6 Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of Elohim (God) came unto me, and his countenance was like the countenance of an angel of Elohim (God), very terrible: but I asked him not whence he was, neither told he me his name: 7 But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite to Elohim (God) from the womb to the day of his death. 8 Then Manoah intreated Yahweh (the Lord), and said, O my Lord, let the man of Elohim (God) which thou didst send come again unto us, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born. 9 And Elohim (God) hearkened to the voice of Manoah; and the angel of Elohim (God) came again unto the woman as she sat in the field: but Manoah her husband was not with her. 10 And the woman made haste, and ran, and shewed her husband, and said unto him, Behold, the man hath appeared unto me, that came unto me the other day. 11 And Manoah arose, and went after his wife, and came to the man, and said unto him, Art thou the man that spakest unto the woman? And he said, I am. 12 And Manoah said, Now let thy words come to pass. How shall we order the child, and how shall we do unto him? 13 And the angel of Yahweh (the Lord) said unto Manoah, Of all that I said unto the woman let her beware. 14 She may not eat of any thing that cometh of the vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink, nor eat any unclean thing: all that I commanded her let her observe. 15 And Manoah said unto the angel of Yahweh (the Lord), I pray thee, let us detain thee, until we shall have made ready a kid for thee. 16 And the angel of Yahweh (the Lord) said unto Manoah, Though thou detain me, I will not eat of thy bread: and if thou wilt offer a burnt offering, thou must offer it unto Yahweh (the Lord). For Manoah knew not that he was an angel of Yahweh (the Lord). 17 And Manoah said unto the angel of Yahweh (the Lord), What is thy name, that when thy sayings come to pass we may do thee honour? 18 And the angel of Yahweh (the Lord) said unto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, seeing it is secret? 19 So Manoah took a kid with a meat offering, and offered it upon a rock unto Yahweh (the Lord): and the angel did wonderously; and Manoah and his wife looked on. 20 For it came to pass, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the angel of Yahweh (the Lord) ascended in the flame of the altar. And Manoah and his wife looked on it, and fell on their faces to the ground.  21 But the angel of Yahweh (the Lord) did no more appear to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he was an angel of Yahweh (the Lord). 22 And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen Elohim (God). 23 But his wife said unto him, If Yahweh (the Lord) were pleased to kill us, he would not have received a burnt offering and a meat offering at our hands, neither would he have shewed us all these things, nor would as at this time have told us such things as these. 24 And the woman bare a son, and called his name Samson: and the child grew, and Yahweh (the Lord) blessed him.  25 And the Spirit of Yahweh (the Lord) began to move him at times in the camp of Dan between Zorah and Eshtaol.”

Remember, the instance of Elijah being translated where he threw his mantel down to Elisha. His disciples could not understand that Elijah had been translated so they began to look for his physical body in the wilderness. 1 Kgs. 19:19–21; 2 Kgs. 2:1, 9-18


2 Kgs. 2:1, 9-18 "1 And it came to pass, when Yahweh (the Lord) would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. … 9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me. 10 And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so. 11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces. 13 He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan; 14 And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the Yahweh Elohim (the Lord God) of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.”

Elisha Succeeds Elijah
"15 And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him. 16 And they said unto him, Behold now, there be with thy servants fifty strong men; let them go, we pray thee, and seek thy master: lest peradventure the Spirit of Yahweh (the Lord) hath taken him up, and cast him upon some mountain, or into some valley. And he said, Ye shall not send. 17 And when they urged him till he was ashamed, he said, Send. They sent therefore fifty men; and they sought three days, but found him not. 18 And when they came again to him, (for he tarried at Jericho,) he said unto them, Did I not say unto you, Go not?”
Their search for Elijah proves they didn’t understand Elijah’s translation.

Fulfilment
The Messiah fulfilled this eating and drinking of Elohim with Moses, Aaron, 70 of the elders and others at Mt. Sinai, by Him eating with His disciples at the Last Supper (Passover). 


Now the Messiah’s disciples didn’t understand His resurrection (Lk. 24:1-12) just as the 70 elders of Israel and others didn’t understand what they were seeing with the Elohim of Israel, the Archetypal Pattern of the Universe.


Above, as is stated in the book of Mark 16:19, The disciples were eating after His resurrection, when Yahshua appeared in spiritual form to them and rebuked them for their stubbornness and disbelief.  


In the book of Luke there’s another recount of this instance. “17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; 18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. 19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. 20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.”

Acts 10:9-35
9 “On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour: 10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, 11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: 12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. 13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. 14 But Peter said, Not so, Yahweh (the Lord); for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. 15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What Elohim (God) hath cleansed, that call not thou common. 16 This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven. 17 Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate, … 34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that Elohim (God) is no respecter of persons: 35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.”
