1 Kings 18:20-40 So Ahab sent unto all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together unto mount Carmel. 21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word. 22 Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the Lord; but Baal's prophets are four hundred and fifty men. 23 Let them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for themselves, and cut it in pieces, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: and I will dress the other bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: 24 And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the Lord: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken. ..
27 And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked. 28 And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them. 29 And it came to pass, when midday was past, and they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that there was neither voice, nor any to answer, nor any that regarded. 30 And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down. 31 And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the Lord came, saying, Israel shall be thy name: 32 And with the stones he built an altar in the name of the Lord: and he made a trench about the altar, as great as would contain two measures of seed. 33 And he put the wood in order, and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid him on the wood, and said, Fill four barrels with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood. 34 And he said, Do it the second time. And they did it the second time. And he said, Do it the third time. And they did it the third time.
35 And the water ran round about the altar; and he filled the trench also with water. 36 And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. 37 Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the Lord God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again. 38 Then the fire of the Lord fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. 39 And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The Lord, he is the God; the Lord, he is the God. 40 And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.
Rev. 20:10
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Below are some of the scriptures Dr. Penny Warren addressed during this session.
Believers who are salted accept the words of truth and do not eat (or believe) the false doctrine of Mystery Babylon.
Job 34:3
3 For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.
There are immutable laws that govern the physical realm as there are immutable laws that govern the spiritual realm. Eating the correct meal, physically allowed Israel to be delivered from Egypt, which pointed to man believing spiritual principles that allow him to passover from a carnal to a resurrected state of the mind.
Children of Israel had to eat the correct meal to exit from Egypt. Lamb, unleavened bread, and bitter herbs pointed to truth, sincerity, humility. (See quote from 2022 lecture below)
“Does the Migratory Trek Explain How a Troubled Mind is Regenerated?
The migratory trek serves as a pattern or map for the regeneration of the troubled-minded state to a spiritual minded state. Paul wrote: “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (Rom. 8:6).”
…
Elohim gave instructions to Israel to prepare the Passover by slaying a sacrificial lamb or goat, with unleaven bread and bitter herbs and putting the blood of the sacrifices on the top of the door, two side posts of the door from a basin. (Ex.12th chap) making a four point configuration of blood.
After Paul was translated by the Holy Spirit, he pointed out the spiritual meaning of the Passover. This meal pointed to the spiritual principles of righteousness that had to be implemented in order to leave Egypt or this trouble-minded state.
“Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth (1Cor. 5:7-8).”
Now the Lamb represents the Truth, who is the Messiah. The Apostle John wrote Yahshua the Messiah saith unto Thomas (Jn. 14:5), ”I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Unleavened Bread - represents the principle of sincerity, “free from pretense or deceit; proceeding from genuine feelings.”
Bitter Herbs - represent the truth being bitter to the carnal minded or troubled-minded state or a state of humbleness. John in Revelation writes: “And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. (Rev. 10:9)”
It is these principles that enable one to transmute or resurrect out of Egypt, the troubled-minded state, into a spiritual minded state in the Wilderness. This is the place that the Messiah had to prepare spiritually for His Apostles and those under the New Covenant. Daniel wrote when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, stand in the holy place.”
Troubled World_Troubled Mind_7-7-22
“Those who follow Christ are willing to give up anything that would hinder their relationship to the Lord, even if it means they must lose a hand (Mark 9:43), a foot (verse 45), or an eye (verse 47). One commentator explains it this way: “The word ‘fire,’ here . . . denotes self-denials, sacrifices, trials, in keeping ourselves from the gratification of the flesh. As if [Jesus] had said, ‘Look at the sacrifice on the altar. It is an offering to God, about to be presented to him. It is sprinkled with “salt, emblematic of purity, of preservation and of fitting it, therefore, for a sacrifice.” So “you” are devoted to God. You are sacrifices, victims, offerings to him in his service. To make you “acceptable” offerings, every thing must be done to “preserve” you from sin and to “purify” you. Self-denials, subduing the lusts, enduring trials, removing offences, are the proper “preservatives” in the service of God’” (Barnes, A., Notes on the Bible, 1834).
The “seasoning” with “salt” can also be something that God does in the lives of believers, as He allows His people to experience different kinds of suffering. God’s purpose for allowing suffering in our lives is not to destroy us, but to shape us into the image of his Son, Jesus Christ: “To this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps” (1 Peter 2:21, ESV).”
What does it mean to be seasoned with salt (Mark 9:49)?
Mark 9:43-49
43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
“Romans 8:1, Carnal mind can't understand, spiritual principles. It is walking after the flesh and not after the spirit. Spiritual mind can see and understand that water baptism points to spiritual baptism and physically eating Lord suppers points to communion with the spirit within.
…
“Yahshua the Messiah fasted for 40 days and nights and fulfilled fasting.
Matt. 4:1-2 “4 Then was Yahshua (Jesus) led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.”
We are fasting from carnal ordinances, abstaining from carnal things
Dr. Donald Brown added: Fasting naturally allows the body to abstain from food and cleanses the toxins from the system. Fasting makes you feel euphoric or as if you’ve achieved nirvana.
Metaphysically, you should be fasting from the doctrines of Mystery Babylon who want us to believe lies of the system, such as Covid-19 vaccines are safe, the monetary system is sound, etc.
Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees discernment comes from within, fasting from lies.
Matthew 16:1-4, “The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven. 2 He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. 3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? 4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.”
Matthew 16:5-8, The Messiah was not talking about physical bread.
Matthew 16:5-8 “5 And when his disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread. 6 Then Yahshua (Jesus) said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. 7 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread. 8 Which when Yahshua (Jesus) perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?”
The Messiah was telling them don’t believe the doctrine
Matthew 16:12 “Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.”
12-03-23_Notes, "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Yahshua the Messiah (Christ Jesus), who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” (Romans 8:1)"
Peter 1:6-7
6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
“Genuine disciples accept the cost of discipleship and the radical commitment required to follow Christ. They are, in a sense, sacrifices to God being prepared for the altar. Jesus’ words remind believers to make every effort to abstain from sin and pursue righteousness. To ensure that sin does not become our master again, God allows us to be “seasoned with salt.”
In His allusion to the Old Testament sacrifices being “seasoned with salt,” Jesus calls us to discipleship. Just as salt purifies and preserves food, God purifies believers of sin and preserves them from destruction.”
What does it mean to be seasoned with salt (Mark 9:49)?
Rom. 12:1-2
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of Elohim (God), that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto Elohim (God), which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of Elohim (God).

Noah salted the first age with truth.
Moses and Aaron salted Egypt with truth.
Yahshua the Messiah was preaching the gospel during his ministry. Preaching the truth equals salt.
Mark 9:49 - see scripture lesson
Luke 14:34
34 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?
Colossians 4:6
6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
1 Peter 2:5
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to Elohim (God) by Yahshua the Messiah (Jesus Christ).
Psalms 50:8
8 I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.
