Rev. 9:13-14 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before Elohim (God). Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

Sixth Trumpet
Rev. 9:13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God.
Rev. 9:14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
Now the four angels correlated with Moses, Aaron, Joshua, and the angel in the cloud. These delivered Israel out of Egypt thru the Red Sea. They killed a third of the men in Egypt, which Moses didn’t write about.
What has to be understood is things in Revelation are a repeat of what happened in Egypt. The four (Moses, Aaron, Joshua, and the angel) may have different manifestations in Revelation.

In Egypt Moses and Aaron were given a time for the death angel to pass through the Land of Egypt killing firstborn man and beast.
Exo. 12:2-3, 29 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. 3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: …
29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the Lord smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

The ‘Ignominious Conduct’ of Israel toward Yahweh, caused by the Invisible Presence of Satan and his host among the Israelites, nearing the end of their sojourn in the Wilderness, caused Yahweh to send fiery Serpents among them and many of the Israelites died because they were bitten by them (Numbers 21:4-6). Yahweh told Moses to make and erect the ‘Brazen Serpent’ upon a pole, that whosoever was bitten by a Serpent and then looketh upon the Brazen Serpent shall live (Numbers 21:6-9; Revelation 9:19-21; John 3:14-15)."
Israel could point to Pharaoh in Egypt as the Devil, but when Pharaoh was no longer there, Yahweh had to show them the cause for their rebellion and disobedience. Just like Adam & Eve did not know that Satan was there to deceive them in the garden.
